God is compassionate to those in need. God saves the needy. What an amazing concept! This is exactly opposite from our culture that tells us to put our own self forward. It isn’t those who bring something to God. It is not those who have something to offer. It is those who come in need who find God. God doesn’t rejoice in those who come to Him with their goodness – for who can compare their “goodness” to the goodness of God?
