None of us likes to go through difficult times, However, we often find that it isn’t until we are in distressing struggles that we stop long enough to search for God. It is then that we find God and His amazing truth, kindness, and goodness. This is true in my own life. In fact, if it weren’t for an extremely painful time, I would have missed God and the good plans that He has for me. In the books I write and the articles on this website, I share what I learn, some of my mistakes and misgivings, and ideas for knowing God and experiencing more of His goodness, power, and peace.

Nearly every day, we hear about another shocking and disturbing event, such as an environmental calamity or political upheaval. Each one is yet another example of why we need God, encouragement, comfort, and hope. Surprisingly, our present-day happenings reveal and prove (once again) that the Bible is true. God, remarkably, foretold centuries ago about these troubling events in His Word, and He revealed His good plans. While the events He proclaimed will be carried out, God offers us salvation, help, grace, and blessings. He invites us into a relationship with Himself, so that we might live in the power of His good news, peace, and righteousness. We get to choose if we will participate with Him (or keep going our own way).

Wherever you are in knowing God (or in searching for answers and God) my hope is to encourage you to grow in knowing Him and His powerful good news. While the books I write (or publish) range widely from a gift book to a wild-ride memoir (and more), they share the same theme of growing in God’s blessings and grace.
